Hours/Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Administrative Offices are closed on observed holidays.

Position Details:

  • Reviewing the status of accounts for Occupational Health clients as assigned;
  • Conducting outreach to Employer, Insurance Company, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), and Patients via telephone to determine current status of claims and the steps necessary to fulfill reimbursement;
  • Ensuring courteous and professional communication with all parties;
  • Accurately documenting collection efforts and following up to ensure outstanding accounts are worked completely and in a timely manner;
  • Working with the Occupational Health Department to ensure information gathered in the collections process is properly updated onto Industrial Client (IC) accounts as appropriate;
  • Ensuring all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) issues are addressed immediately, and proper notifications are made to appropriate parties;
  • Processing credit card payments while ensuring all compliance protocols are adhered to;
  • Ensuring all productivity goals are achieved on a consistent basis;
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures;
  • Responsible for operating, using, and maintaining office equipment as trained.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older;
  • High school graduate or equivalent;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required;
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks;
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and achieve productivity goals;
  • Computer skills required, including Microsoft Office Applications;
  • Basic math and analytical/problem solving skills;
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time (4-7 hours at a time).
