Presidio is seeking a Systems Administrator for their client located in Chicago, IL location to support a ~500-user environment, primarily focused on system administration and end-user operational support. The role will involve managing identity, device, and SaaS infrastructure while assisting with day-to-day break/fix needs across the organization. This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide break/fix support and operational troubleshooting for internal users (~500 users)
- Administer and support Okta for identity management, including application onboarding, SAML / SSO / SCIM integrations and Okta workflow support.
- Manage a small Google Cloud / Google Workspace environment.
- Support device management across Mac and Windows endpoints using JAMF/ JumpCloud.
- Oversee endpoint lifecycle management including patch management, device compliance and agent deployment.
- Assist with automation workflows such as Zapier.
- Collaborate with distributed teams, including executive stakeholders based in Washington State (provide white-glove service).
Requirements
- Minimum three years of experience in a desktop support and/or systems administration role.
- Proven experience supporting users in mid- to large-size organizations.
- Experience supporting executives, C-suite, and senior-level users.
- Ability to support users over the phone and through remote support tools.
- Experience with and understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Okta identity management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional and friendly attitude with a strong sense of urgency and customer service.
Duration: 3-6 months with possible extensions
