Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest growing rental business in North America, is seeking experienced, full-time Diesel and HVAC Equipment Mechanics in the Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Lebanon, TN areas.   This role performs preventive maintenance, perform advanced diagnostics, and make complex repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily include Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment. Our specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment.

We offer:

• Competitive hourly pay of $18.06 - $ 24.82 per hour, depending on experience

• Monday-Friday, 7 am to 5 pm schedule

Requirements:  

• 1+ years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred

• Provide own mechanic’s tools of trade
• Can work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship
  
  

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical school diploma a plus

• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
