Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest growing rental business in North America, is seeking a full-time, Outside Sales Representative to cover an established territory in and around the Savannah, GA area for our Scaffolding Division. You will be responsible for generating profitable business from the range of equipment that your profit center specializes in. You will do this by developing your assigned territory, implementing sales plans to grow business and maintain current customer base, and by helping to build the national Sunbelt Rentals branding identity. This is not a sales desk job. You will be spending most of your time meeting with potential clients on active construction sites during construction industry hours (7am - 5 pm). RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE TO A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE.

• Successful first year Outside Sales Representatives average around $80,000+ per year.  Base pay of $40,000-$62,965/year (based on experience), plus robust, uncapped commission plan with commission guarantees for first few months.

Requirements:

• Can work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship
• High school diploma/g.e.d. and 3-4 years of related sales experience OR 4-year college degree in related field with at least 1 year of related experience
• Within commutable distance (or willing to relocate with assistance) to Savannah, GA
• Able to work independently and structure your day to meet your sales goals with minimal manager input
• Sourcing, cold calling, and sales closing skills
• Knowledge of scaffolding, construction estimating, or construction project management is preferred, understanding of technical side in a construction sales role such as blueprint reading and conceptual design; manufacturing or facilities related sales experience can also be considered
• Comfortable with heights and navigating active construction sites on a regular basis
• Available to work construction industry hours 7 am - 5 pm, Mondays - Fridays
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid U.S. driver's license and acceptable driving record (for insurance purposes)
• Solid computer skills

Physical Demands: 

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Must be comfortable with heights for estimating purposes as well as safely navigating active construction sites.
