Key Purpose of the Role:
The Product Manager facilitates management of Worldpay’s payment enabling products and service offerings, including management of the overall product lifecycle and financial performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee management of the lifecycle for credit, debit, and other defined product sets including enhancements to existing products and services, solution definitions, design, launch, implementation and support through maturity and sunset/end-of-life where appropriate.
- Drives roadmap strategically and tactically, focusing on revenue expansion and/or cost reduction for the defined product set; manages the product line/offering from requirements through post-launch and end-of- life planning and execution to ensure approved revenue targets are met.
- Develops, executes and manages product line strategies, ensuring ongoing improvement of product performance; manages credit card association compliance requirements, maintenance, and new product development requests, ensuring consistency with overall business as well as specific product-line strategies; maintains ongoing feature and functionality matrices as well as prioritized enhancement lists.
- Monitors and reports on competitive and market intelligence, including customer and industry needs; competitor positioning, offerings, and capabilities; and input from Sales and other stakeholders for each target customer segment.
- Defines product and business requirements, builds business cases, documents use cases and provides subject-matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders; develops and maintains product documents, including ongoing product roadmap, feature and functionality matrices and product performance reporting.
- Manages key vendor relationships for assigned product lines; collaborates with internal and external (e.g. vendor, agency) functional teams to properly execute business or project plans that support overall product growth or changes.
- Support Marketing and Sales with the execution of product launch strategies and initiatives; and develops product roll-out, pricing, and sunset plans; ensures ongoing legal and regulatory compliance of the product line.
Experience:
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Marketing, Business, Engineering
- 2-5 years of product management support
- 1 year vendor management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in defining and delivering product market strategies/campaigns
- Passion for technology and innovation
